DIY Paw Print Magnet: Crafts for Dogs

Equipment

  • Mini canvas magnets (I got mine at the Dollar Tree))
  • 2 different colors of paint
  • Paint brush
  • Newspaper and paper towel
  • A dog paw (obviously)

Instructions
 

  • Paint canvas background color. Let dry.
  • Prepare space with newspaper on the ground. Have plenty of wet paper towel ready to wash your dog’s paw. For large breeds, consider getting a helper to herd your dog if their wet paws run off.
  • Apply paint to a paintbrush. Paint onto your dog’s paw. Hold paw and firmly press onto canvas.
  • It’s your dog’s art, it doesn’t need to be perfect—swipes and ‘mistakes’ are welcome! You can also redefine paw prints later with a finer paint brush.
  • Wipe paws off with wet and dry paper towels. Let magnet painting dry.
  • Don’t forget to sign your dog’s name. They want credit!
