When a dog saw a baby deer struggling to remain afloat, he took it upon himself to save it.
A golden retriever and his owner were enjoying a day near the waters off the New York Coast when they saw a drowning fawn.
With his owner cheering him on, Storm jumped into the lake and pulled out the deer, dragging him to shore. Even after the deer was on safe ground, the dog stayed with it, making sure it was okay. The dog began inspecting the deer, seemingly to make sure it was still breathing.
